4/26/15 – Week 1, Day 2 – ME Upper

Well I’m back on the wagon after a deload week that felt like an eternity. I was planning on posting my deload workouts but I doubt that you want to know how much I can goblet squat. Anyway, Yesterday I finally got to hit heavy squats with the clubs new SSB and today was floor press. I haven’t floor pressed heavy since least summer so I wasn’t sure where my strength was at there. It turned out to be a great training session!

  • Stretch and Warm-Up
  • Floor Press
    •  Bar x5, 135×5, 185×3, 225×3, 275×3, 295×3
    • 190×5, 220×5, 245×11
  • Close Grip Bench Press
    • 195×10, 225×8, 245×6
  • Dumbbell Floor Press
    • 120×15, 120×10, 120×10
  • Cable Rows
    • 140×20, 160×20, 180×20, 200×10, 220×10
  • Precher Curls
    • 40×15, 60×10, 60×10
  • Tricep Pressdowns (w/ EliteFTS Grenade Attachment
    • 20×10, 25×10, 30×10, 35×10

As I said, today’s training session went very well. Floor press moved smoothly. It is really nice to get back into the rec and move some heavy weight. I am very excited to see how much progress I can make during this training cycle.
